Guess I am lucky my fish keep having babies. I have 3 now that have moved to the main tank and 5 more in the fry tank, not to mention the two I just found hiding under the air stone. The only problem is I don't have room to keep them all in the tank and don't know what to do with them. Guess...
Son got a goldfish. Goldfish was too big for one gallon tank. Got an infection took him back to aquarium store. Got a 5 1/2 gallon tropical tank. Decided that was not big enough so got a 20 gallon acrylic tank. Have had that for 3 weeks. The entire process has been 2 months. So when do...
How big is your tank? Make sure you do at least a 25% water change a couple of times a week and check your levels. Good luck and enjoy your new fishie friends.
If he has an algae eater and it is still green on the sides the algae eater can't keep up with it. Does he have a tank brush? I would check the water quality and add more water unless he had it low because the fish are jumpers and he has no hood.
I am guessing that he keeps the water level thar low because he has no hood on the tank. Does he have a Pleco or algae eater of any kind. If it is green they would have a feast. Has he done a water change lately? I do a 25% change every Sat. His setup looks good just looks like the tank...
Is it really that cloudy? Or is it just the way the pics look. Also is the water level that low for a reason? The fish from what I can see of them look ok. I am no expert for sure but if it is really that cloudy I would check the levels. It is it a new setup that is still cycling.
Update I called the Aquarium Center and they said they would take him. He looked so much happier by the time we left they put him in a 55 gallon with 2 other fish. We got a clown Pleco that we were told only gets to be around 2 1/2 inches.
Actually he looks better than that he was moving when the picture was taken. He is very healthy and active and eats very well. I just don't know how to go about trying to find him a new home.
Y 20 gallon acrylic came with a 7 year old 6 inch Pleco
that my boys aptly named Rex. IMO he is way to big for the tank but seems happy and healthy with the other fish. Should I try to find him a new home in a bigger tank or leave him?
