I've also heard of reports of a build up of carbon monoxide in a room with an open fireplace. Carbon monoxide gets into the water on it's surface (as does oxygen) and causing some weaker or smaller fish to die. A bit like sending the canary down mine shafts to detect gas.

How many albino's do you have in you tank sith? Is this in your 75g tank?

I would tend to agree. I have three Pearls in my 47g, and for the most part they're quiet, peaceful and keep to themselves. When I threw in a pea as a treat, one of the Pearls decided it was for her and for her only! Chased off any other fish that came near it.

I got rid of the thing last night. It won't be the last I see of them though, as I can see three of those blobs that I saw before, and I know thiese will grow into snails. I might leave these be and see how things go...

I've read that rainbow sharks are quite aggressive. That might be the only fish in the tank after a week or so. 8O

Actually, you may be right. I've seen the Danios try to nip at the whiskers of the Gouramis. I think I might go for two Corys so they at least have eachother. As for the Angels, I may give that some more thought. What else do you have in your tank?

Indeed. They're a nice looking fish. I don't think I've seen them at any of my LFS. Besides, I have two sets of schooling *cough* fish already, and it's my understanding that's all your meant to have.

I have a 175 litre, which I think is about a 47g tank. With 6 Tetras, 6 Danios, 3 Gouramis, and a Bristlenose Plec, won't 6 Tiger Barbs be too much for the tank? I do like them though.
