    I got Free Hornwort

    So I got a couple new fish today and in the bag with them was a few tiny sprigs of Hornwort. How big of a piece would I need for it to grow and flourish? They are kinda small.

    Is it normal for a fish to "sleep" by floating at the surface?

    I have a guppy that does the exact same thing. The first time I saw him do this I thought he was dead but he woke up, so I decided he must be sleeping. I still see him do this from time to time. I've had him for about 4 months now.

    I looked up the epsom salt treatment and still not sure how to do this properly. Some say to use aquarium salt and not epsom salt. I have a 1.5 gal I could use as a med tank but I do not have a filter or heater. That shouldn't be a problem though since it sounds like I only need to keep the fish...

    Floating Lettuce
