    13 gallon stocking suggestions

Recently bought a second tank and am planning in putting it in my guest room. It's a fairly small 13 gallon tank that I plan on turning into a simple freshwater tropical community. So my question is what would be a good 'large' fish to keep as the centerpiece in this one. I mean large relative...

    Tetra down

Thank you. And I feel the same but thought it would be laughable to worry so much. I actually have him in a small betta tank .5 gallons with his school of glowlight tetra I filled it with water from the tank main and have been doing my best to keep it as clean as possible Started feeding him...

    Tetra down

So one of my smaller tetras has had the middle point of his main fin bit. It can't stay upright or swim straight. Mostly it just lays on its side but otherwise seems very active. Trying to lower my PH level in my tank.

Trying to lower my PH level in my tank.

Thats good news, then I won't perform anything drastic and just keep checking the level to make sure it's not on the rise! Thank you you two. @Freshh20: I am using the Aqueon Quietflow model 10 It came with the setup for the aquarium. And yes it uses replaceable filter cartridges. I had been...

Trying to lower my PH level in my tank.

I have recently just set up my first tank, 13 gallons, non-planted very basic. I figured it was a good way to start the hobby. For the last week I've had a pair of male Dwarf Gouarmi living in it, they seem to be healthy and active... and thankfully aren't at each others throats. Next week...

New Member - New to the Hobby

Hey Everyone, So let me get this out of the way by saying that I am woefully new to aquarium keeping. My fiance and I decided we would like to have a small tropical fish aquarium to our home recently (read as two weeks ago) and things are starting our fairly well! That being said the internet...
