    Getting TB to Shoal

Hey, Thanks for the response guys, I appreciate it? So should I leave it as is or add two juvies (that will likely get harassed) or maybe just add a bottom feeder or a small centerpiece fish to "balance" the tank. Thanks again!

    Getting TB to Shoal

Hi, Thanks for your response. The aggression was just really bothering me for asthetics. I know that they won't kill each other, I just want to have to look at a peaceful tank and not fish harassment. I was thinking have a big fish in there might frighten them and cause them to cluster...

    Getting TB to Shoal

I was wondering if putting a "big" or "mildly aggressive fish" in my 20 gallon barb tank will promote schooling of my tiger barbs. I currently only have 4 (1 albino and 3 green) after the 2 death of two, but since they are fully grown, I didn't want to get 2 juvies that would be picked on...

    Re-organization

Sweet, I may look into the yo yos. I've never kept them before, so I'll have to do a bit of research on them. Kuhli loaches look pretty interesting, though. Flip: Did your tigers school despite the mismatch colors? Thank yous for all your replies.

    Re-organization

So currently my 20 gallon long is stocked with: - 1 albino tiger barb - 2 green tiger barbs - 2 black ruby barbs It's a bit of an odd combination since some of the tigers from the initial shoal died and I adopted random fish, which sort of explains my unbalanced/ unideal numbers. The...

Isn't salt water expensive to start up? Also, wouldn't I be restricted to a species only tank for the crayfish?

Thanks for the reply guys, I was worried about getting flamed on here. The tanks at home are planted although with low-maintenence low-light plants. I feel like the lfs here sell plants that aren't meant for aquatic environments. I have a bunch of tanks at home and had a variety of fish...but...

    ...something interesting...anything

I (no offense) feel like im slowly getting tired and bored of the hobby, maybe cause I don't have much time (in college). I'm thinking of setting up a new 10 or 20. Limited space...yeah. I'm currently trying to brainstorm something that ISN'T boring to put in there...maybe some inverts + fsh...

Anyone had problems with tubifex worm?

True I guess. The only objection I would have, would have been the reaction of the feeder goldfish...they eat ANYTHING!!! Yet they refused these. Lol. Boo. After I gave my barbs the tubifex worms...which they rejected, they got bloodworms for the first time...now they won't eat their flake...

    Bleeding?

I hope not. the thing though is that this mark is visible on both sides of the fish at the same place and looks exactly the same.
