Thanks everyone. I have a brightly lit tank, but the remote flashes for the camera do most of the work. Im using two flashes...one onboard, and the other over the top of the tank. I found a much better pic of my juvy red empress taken last night. I added the new pic to the original post.

godzilla Make sure you have the autofocus on when shooting fish. It helps to focus at a closer distance so that you can get better shots of the fish in the entire frame (so you dont have to crop too far down). That will help you out tremendously (if your not using it now). Yellow labs are...

I need to cut my stock back in my 75gallon, so the bembas have to go. I have 16-20 2"-3" Tropheus Bembas (unsexed). A few of the females have spawned a couple of times, but have not held to term. Here are a couple pics of the top of the hierarchy... more of the group here...
