Be careful about using meds with your tetras and especially the clown loaches. Medicines containing malachite green are dangerous for them. To do the salt and heat method, you should get the temperature to at least 86 degrees. Do this gradually over a few days. 1 tablespoon of aquarium salt...

I just set up a 75 gallon with 2 Rena Filstar xp3 canisters, and i'm happy with it so far. I'm keeping some messy cichlids though, so you may not need that much filtration.

Yeah, it does look a little green. Does it get much sunlight from that window that is next to it? If so, it may be the cause.

My fish thank you for the compliments! Since last posting, they have moved into their new 75 gallon home. I'm waiting for them to grow a bit to decide which one of them I want to keep, and will find a home for the other one. It's amazing what a bigger tank will do for a fish's behaviour and...
