    Baby Turtle wont eat

We bought a baby hatchling Map Turtle at a reptile expo over the weekend. I was told it eats commercial turtle pellets. I bought it Saturday, it is now Monday night and it hasn't eaten yet. I have been placing it in a separate dish to feed. It doesn't take a nibble. I tried Repto-min, small...

Had several ornamental rocks that were always dug out and around, with gravel usually found "duned" around the aquarium. Just wondering if sand is advisable or better?

I was going to run a whisper 2 HOB filter in parallel, but when reading the suggestions on the forum site, it seems that Aquaclear HOB is a more popular selection. So, I ditched the Whisper 2, and now I...

Using a powerhead with an undergravel filter

I am setting up a 29 gallon aquarium with a perfecto undergravel filter. I am going to be using a power head on the one outlet tube, my question is- do I cap the other outlet tube, or do I set it up with a airstone and air pump? I've never used a power head with an undergravel filter before.
