I have kept him in a 240 Gal tank with my Arowana.... Can I keep him there?? he is currently living with 2 jaguar chiclids(5"), 2 blood parrots(4"), 1 arowana(1'3"),1 senegal Bichir(6").. the Tilapia buttikoferi is about 7".....

I got this from my lfs and I forgot its name.Only thing I remember is that its an african chiclid.how big do they get? Are they mean? and how to differenciate between the sexes?

IMO, nothing can be done regarding this issue:(..... People don't care about fish as much as they do about other pets like cats or dogs or even rats and rabbits..:(

even mine do the same thing... Usually in the night..:)

The big fish is a Silver Arowana...:)

I increased the water temp to 85... the water parameters are: ammonia: 0 Nitrite: 0 Nitrate: 10

My arowana keeps on rubbing itself against the rockwork in my aquarium... Its not chlorine poisoning because I put chlorine free water in my tank.... I have treated the water with a solution of Sodium Chloride and Merbromine for ich and it didn't work.Then I tried the anti bacterial medicine...
