Thanks coralbandit! I'm treating brush algae and the side effect is low ph, so that makes perfect sense! Have started to rectify the balance, gradually, so hopefully Pineapple and the freckly one will hopefully improve without anything too permanent as a result.

That's me with my (long suffering) husband and my 5yo, who has been through 11 guppy deaths, what a trooper. But now we have 4 guppy fry and 6+ platy fry, so all good!

Just came across this on YouTube and found it very interesting. Its two years old so I'm sure many of you have seen this already. But as a newbie, learning about fish, I thought it was really informative in regards to natural habitats.

I moved her into my 12L/3g fry tank (which has four 8 week old guppy fry). Once she gives birth I'll put her back in the main tank (35L/10g). There's plenty of java moss fin the ry tank. Then, I have no idea what I will do with them once they've grown!
