    What is best type of food?

    I am a newbie. I have had a planted freshwater 20-gal aquarium with fish, shrimp and snails for just over a year. In terms of fish, I have had the best luck with tetras. My question is very simple. What is the best fish food and where can I get it. :fish2:

    What are 1/2 inch "walking threads" in my substrate? Have seen two.

    I am a newbie, I have community tank with fish, snails and shrimp. Today I noticed 1/2 inch skinny things (like walking threads) in substrate. What are these? Are they bad?

    Where are my otos?
