What is best type of food?

I am a newbie. I have had a planted freshwater 20-gal aquarium with fish, shrimp and snails for just over a year. In terms of fish, I have had the best luck with tetras.

My question is very simple. What is the best fish food and where can I get it.

Omega one, new life spectrum are the brands I hear a lot about, I'm using both for dry food. Hikiara is one that some people love, others not so much (depends on the fish you're feeding) Frozen is good too, then you get into stuff like rapashi and making your own gel food....
