I noticed very small whites spots on my clownfish. They are also scratching on everything. I don't think it's ick or would be covered after a few days. They are eating and are very active. Same spots on both more like bumps then grains of sand. Thanks for your help!

Hi. I bought a new Protein Skimmer and have read that some people break them in by running them overnight in a vinegar/ water bath. Has anyone used this process or is it really needed for success?

I have Fluval Evo Sea 13.5 and the PS2 Fluval Mini Skimmer. The Fluval PS2 Skimmer is terrible. Constant adjustments. It's so annoying. I looked around and not sure what will fit in rear chamber and also what brands actually work well. Rear chamber is 4'' x 3.4'' Any thoughts?

I use Nutra Seawater and always have to add R/O water to it as it reads at 1.029

They are peppermint shrimp for sure and have eaten the smaller of the two Aiptasia. I have aiptasia X coming in tomorrow to take care of the other one. I wonder if the pet store will take them back. I'd hate to flush them... do you think one is a good idea?

The skimmer seems to have finally broken in with 95% less micro bubbles!

My LFS sold me three larger peppermint shrimp to eat the two aptasia in my tank. I have the EVO 13.5. The shrimp have killed all my snails and they are like the Mafia, lol. Thinking of getting rid of all of them. Any thoughts? Should I keep one? Will they always kill my snails? I think 3 is...
