I was under the impression that a p.h. Of 6 would be fine for most South American species? Due to their natural habitat having very soft and acidic water? Am I wrong in thinking that then?
Mine swim all I've as well. Think it's ok. They're health and happy. They spawn all the time so can't be to bothered. Mine are panda corys. What are yours?
Thanks. I think it's grape vine. Not actually sold as an aquarium piece but for reptiles. You have to soak it for quite a while or weigh it down but the pieces you can find are so much more appealing than the drab lumps of big wood you get and cheaper than spider wood.

Hi. Yes I currently have this on a tank that I set up about 6 weeks ago. From experience its a self remedying problem. All my fish are happy and healthy. Sometimes I give it a gentle scrub with a tooth brush before a water change.
