Yea...rearranged some rock...found this. Any ideas? Bad or good? I know there are different types of aiptasia. Its so close to coloring of the rock it was hard to get a decent pic.

Hey I just got this new rock of zoa's and when I was placing it I must have done something and I dont know if it was the zoa's ( dont think its possible ) or just sand or junk from the rock, but it was milky and dissipated very fast. This isnt the palytoxin right? That is on the zoa's themselves...

Ive been digging through my books so I know how to spot the difference when buying them. I can see the difference, palythoa seem to have larger polyps with "stringy"tentacles and have sand encrusted body columns. Where as the zoanthus have brighter colors, smaller polyps and shorter blunt...

Im wondering where in the flow of water should GAC be placed? Is it ok to just add some to my filter sock?

Will they do ok? I have always had a CBS in my tanks, I like thier "ninja" personalities. I have never had cleaner shrimp but with the addition of a few fish I feel it is time to get a cleaning station going. Will there be any conflicts with them? They will be in a 4ft tank with plenty of rock.

I picked up 4 ( well really 2 ) yellow malawi yesterday and after acclimating and checking them out i found that these 2 had an orange hint, maybe they are just young? Sorry about the big pics, i thought they were smaller.

Well....havent posted much in the past few days cause ive been setting up my herp tank. Anywho...its a high yellow morph of leopard gecko. Super cool little dude, cant wait till it grows up.

My GF fish have gotten ich after we trasfered them to a new tank. What steps do I need to do to get rid of this? I know nothing about advanced FW. livestock: 1 tetra 2 platys 2 dwarf frogs What can I add to the tank, or do I need to leave the tank fishless like in SW?

Im wondering if skimmers will deplete the amount of plankton in your tank by any amount? So I can adjust how much I add accordingly.
