    Combining 2 fish tanks

I have a 44 gallon tank with 5 neon tetras, 2 regosa, 2 hatchets, a silver dollar, a black skirt tetra and a julie catfish. I also have a 16 gallon tank with 3 upside down catfish which have grown quite large over the past 4 years and 1 yellow gourami. I’m going to put the fish in the 16 gallon...

    75 Gallon African Cichlid Tank

I have 2 tanks. 44 gallon and 18 gallon. I have had them for over 20 years. I have found that the more hiding places the more successful I have been with fish longevity. I have used silk plants and they flow really nicely and add colors to the environment. Your tank looks super cool with the...

I love the decor. I do believe you might want to add some hiding places. Plants or cavernous rocks.

    Urgent:angelfish problem

I’ve never encountered a chocking Fish in all my years. Let me know how it turns out. I’m guessing the stress of all this is too much. Fish are pretty fragile I believe

    Urgent:angelfish problem

I think he’s dying. Probably not much you can do. I would fish him out, put him in a ziplock baggy with the heated water from the fish tank. Put him in the freezer and he will peacefully go to sleep and die. Sounds barbaric but your symptoms sound bleak. Sorry [emoji22]

    Angelfish all better!

Ich is awful. I’ve recently had to battle it myself. It’s a concern every time I add new Fish. I️ hate the meds too. It makes an awful mess. Last time I️ cured the tank be increasing the heat, adding aquarium salts and more aeration.

I would like to get fish and want to know what would be best

The big one has 3 hatchets, 4 rugosa, 2 black skirt tetras, 2 neon tetras, 1 silver dollar and 2 julie catfish. The smaller one has 3 very shy upside down catfish. I'm going to be adding 2 dwarf gourami now that the upside downs have had a month to settle in. They have all found their hiding places.

I would like to get fish and want to know what would be best

I have 2 tanks (44 and 16 gallons). I always try to keep the communities peaceful. It's so hard to add new fish without suffering some sort of disruption. Once the fish are in there's not a hole lot you can do but watch. One time I added a new silver dollar. I had 2 that grew old and one died. I...
