Is the tank barebottom if not maybe consider it as it’s easy for visually challenged fish to find food more easily. Hope this helps

Hi if your buying from a pet store then you are limited to what they have in stock. But if you order offline like ebay or something, you can find so great deals or rare and centrepiece fish like kribensis, or maybe some shrimp to keep control of the algae, red cherry are cheap and easy to keep...

Well it depends the fish in the tank must be very peaceful. And the tank must be big, to give the betta’s enough room. How big is you tank? Also lots of hiding places are necessary so if they get aggressive the bullied betta can hide

Does anyone know of any good carpeting plants that don’t require co2 and are easy to grow with a LED light and low fertilisation?

The light is quite strong its causing some hair algae to grow on the plants. So I don’t think the light is the real problem
