Hi all, I currently have a 160lt tank with 2 golden gourami, 2 rams and some guppies. I’m thinking of adding some red cherry shrimp to this tank. Do you think the other fish may eat them as they are only babies. The tank is densely planted and the dwarf sag has carpeted the whole front of the tank. Any ideas?
Thanks...

If it fits in its mouth it’s a snack. Gourami, rams and guppies mouths are big enough to snack on medium sized shrimp. Of course, if you have significant hiding places it could be done, but population would be minimal if at all....

If it matters, I have kept shrimp with the following fish with decent success:

Chili rasbora

Celestial Pearl Danio

Emerald Rasbora

Glowlight Danio

Pygmy Cory

Oto Catfish

Ok thanks, maybe soon.
