I got this today and this are my readings today too . Yes I’m about to do a 50% water change and I have aquaclear filter. Can I just throw this sponge in my tank or should I take my filter apart and add a piece on top of my existing sponge or cut it put it in my filter? Help

I didn’t feed yesterday but just fed them a couple minutes ago. The dwarf gourami definitely get very aggressive during feeding so I have to throw flakes on two different sides of the tank. The last guppy seems more Outgoing about swimming in the tank since everyone else died .... weird...
