15 gallon to 29 gallon swap?

Your gourami will be fine in the new tank, he will love the extra room. I keep mine in a 75 gal and they use the whole tank. As for what other fish you could stock, have you thought of maybe getting your gourami some playmates, or maybe some cory's to help keep the bottom of the tank clean?

    restarting my planted tanks

Nice to see a name that I remember getting back into the game. I have just recently started up my 75 again and have been lurking around here again. Your tank is really starting to look good. Always enjoyed watching your tanks.

    Why do you keep fish?

I agree with everyone else, they are just so relaxing. The headache that they me be once in awhile is nothing to being able to set and look into a healthy tank and just get lost in their world.

    Thoughts of my simple scape..

I have to agree the dark wood and open layout really make for an attractive tank.

    I'm back after three years.

Was a regular here 3 years ago, then got transfered to the west coast, and ben been bouncing around apartments. Now have a house again so I can get some of the tanks out again. I run planted tanks, and cannot wait to connect with some old friends here and make some new.

    Why I've been scarce.....new pics 6/12/07....Sailing!

Careful, we might take you up on that. The project is looking great. The hard work will be worth it this summer. And them strong arms will help with the sails. :D

    tetras & high pH?

Welcome to AA!!!!! I have found that I would rather have a steady PH then trying to use chemicals to lower it. I have kept neon tetra's at a ph of 7.8 and had no trouble. Others will correct me, but as long as your PH is stable, you should be ok.

    Panda Cories (now with Pic)

The female panda is much larger and more round then the male. Mine are real easy to tell apart.

    Panda Cories (now with Pic)

There are Neon Tetra's and Guppies in the tank. There is also a lot of Java and Xmas moss for them to hide in.
