Low demand easy plants for sure. Would regular gravel like Imagitarium Nutmeg Aquarium Gravel be ok? Is "supposed" to be good for plants because of its size? I really want something not expensive since if I do not have good luck will go back to plastic. I could always fertilize the plants. Thanks

Thanks. I will probably end up purchasing a 75 Aqueon. I like the looks of Planet Aquarium and stand but it is real pricey. Maybe I was having a pipe dream about buying it. Glad you have not experienced any issues with Aqueon.

I did have an Eheim (think it was 2217) cannister filter on the 75 I had in the past. Was a great filter but was time consuming cleaning and changing the media. Water was crystal clear and filter soooo quiet... occasionally it did leak some though so had to keep in a dish pan. However, not sure...

I agree BUT has to pass "approval" if you know what I mean! Might end up with the Aqueon 75 but that is okay too. I am sure 75, stand and top would be less than $999. I just like the look of the Planet Aquarium and stand. Will see...
