I have NEVER been to a walmart that had decent fish at a price I'd pay. Petco is suckco.. the petsmart in Omaha is ok.. but it really is very hit or miss if the person working there is going to know anything or not.

I don't like the petco on Dodge in Omaha.. and since the fish store I do like is miles and miles away I find I now frequent petsmart for my fish needs.

Who ever told you they won't eat plants is lying.. I've tried to have all sorts of plants in my tank.. it never worked. Little bugger had them gone overnight. :( I think they only get to 5 -6 inches at most. In captivity at least.

I like to eat crawdads in front of mine when he gets out of line... since I've started this I've had NO problems from him.. He's in a tank with tiger barbs, buenes aires tetras, cherry barbs, and zebra danios.

I have a blue crawfish.. I haven't worried about the water parameters with it. It eats whatever I put into the tank. I've had it two years. He's not big.. maybe 5 inches. I love watching him.. he is by far the coolest thing inthe tank. You have to be careful with putting slow or stupid fish...

when i vaccuum I clean the top part of the sand.. thenI turn off the filter and stirr up the sand to get rid of air trapped.. when everything has settled again I turn the filter back on. I'm not sure that it's what your suposed to do but it works for me.

Green barb ARE tiger barbs that have been artificial made that way from my understanding. I just recently added 3 new barbs to my tank so that I'd have 7 tiger barbs. So far it's been a month with no problems.

I recently moved 1000 miles and it took two days to move. I just put all my fish in a large bucket put it in the car and then set up the first tank first when I got to my new location. I didn't bother with an airstone or anything like that cause I just didn't have the money to buy anything...

With the addition of the 4 neon tetras it would be overstocked. However, the betta would more than likely prefer 10 gallons to half a gallon. If your zebra danios have short fins and not long then it should work.
