Man the price of shipping for that little amount of rock is going to be the same as the rock or more! There has to be a good LFS in the Houston area. Also check for reef clubs online, see if anyone is selling rock.

Check out your local reef clubs online as well, you may be able to pick up some locally for 1.00 or 2.00 a pound and not pay shipping!

Right except for the one zoa I got from the guy who I bought my lights from. I'm impressed, they're doing well.

Some update pics Shrooms Zoas Inno said this was galaxae The only coral I've put in the tank, I believe this is a zoa Shrooms - the one in the bottom left has moved up to get more light

Nitrate was between 0 and 5, likely 1 or 2 ppm, the other to were 0.

I actually did a test yesterday, everything is doing well. I found a hitchhiker crab in one piece of rock - looks like a sally lightfoot I think. Black with white bands.

How much flow is too much flow? I just picked up two Aquaclear 802's (400gph) from Petsmart (27.99 online - pricematched down from 56.99!!!). Will this be too much flow for my 40B with live rock and corals (at some point)?

They aren't live plants no, the silver dollars destroy anything green and live. I will crop them and make them nice as well.
