thanks lando i have a rena xp3 ,390 cf watts of light ,and want a reef soft corals and of course live rock .ill most likely get a wet dry filter and sump. not too many fish and some little critters . i know i need different bulbs for the light would the light be good enough for soft corals ?

i need some thoughts about turning a fully planted freshwater tank into a saltwater reef.what would i need to do?

now in a couple of months at the hands of this "mad scientist" this tank will probably look like a show tank for "the great barrier reef" if i know sparky!!! good luck there c ya later

how many bubbles pre sec. in a 150 tank 5to6 watts pre gal lots of plants little fish?

that dont sound to good well as plain as they are i hope he can get some african ciclids instead of bluegills i know they tear up plants but fun to watch ! they tear mine up just a little bit . well thanks for the info WaterPond and hulkamaniac

my buddie is setting up a 150 fully planted tank at work the question is his boss wants to use fish out of the pond what kind of temp should it be at? the fish are bass, blue gill,channel cat . what kind of problems will he have?

in the diy section easy diffusers pretty cheap to make too or sparky 697 sells them i think

my self i like lots of plants and drift wood and real rock caves but thats just me

if not enough it will turn green !!! im color blind and my wife didnt tell me it was green i thought it was cloudy white keep a eye on the bubble counter
