Hi guys, my purpose of starting this thread is for us to list what equipment we have bought from ebay, how much and how good the equipment was as well as the service we received. I am in the process of buying T5 lighting and am unsure who to trust in ebay.

I am setting up again my 55 gallaon. I am painting the back and the sides, since light isn't coming out the back and sides will my tank still need lots of light if i want to keep corals? The back and sides will be painted a light blue.

I recently noticed Isopods on a sick damsel of mine. Oddly enough they dont go on any other fish. How do i get rid of these things. One is white with black eyes( havent seen him since the crab ate him) the other is really small and brown in color. I was considering using coppersafe.

No one told me that Queen Conchs attack live inverts. I missed my shrimp I looked for him and behold both queen conchs are having a snack. I brought home some hermits and poof they are snacks too.

I just picked up some hermit crabs from the caribbean sea. The crabs have bule legs with small orange bands. I dont have a camera can anyone tell me which species is this?

If new inverts can carry fish diseases how to you introduce them into the aquarium. Should you quarantine them and medicate them ( not certain if this is good) or do you just add them and hope for the best?

At present I dont have a quarantine tank. If I setup a 10 gallon tank only when I am buying new fish will this work? I would use the live rock from my sump that is provided all the fish in my main is healthy.

Is it true that gobies are difficult to acclimate? I am interested in getting nano fish and thought that gobies would be a great addition to my tank. But reading up on them i read that they are difficult to acclimate to the new environment.
