    What are glow fish

I've come across these before. Yesterday when i went to purchase some Zebra Danios for my tank I saw them right next to the regular danios. They came in these colors called Fire Red and Sunburst. Orange and Red Danios. I was tempted to buy a few, but I decided against it mainly because they were...

    Master Test Kits Questions

The screen name I came up with because of my puppy Jack. He's a real mess sometimes :\ and so we tell him to "Hit the road" all the time lol. Alright, that clears up a whole lot thanks :)

two 10gal tank -How to stock them?

Alright. I'll keep that in mind, would it be wise to just get a pair or maybe three, so they might be able to reproduce and still have room? or should I just go with 4? I'd rather have one less fish and more room than one more fish and less room.

    Master Test Kits Questions

Alright. I'm not on well water. Thanks :] Interesting. I'll look for it around here, there aren't many pet stores except for Walmarts (I don't really consider them a pet store), and a Petco in Jonesboro. :\ But I'll try, and there's always Amazon, and other online stores, I'll keep looking...

two 10gal tank -How to stock them?

I know :] I've looked into rasboras. And based on my gallon size, I can choose from Harlequin Rasbora, Golden Harlequin Rasbora, and Black Harlequin Rasbora. I think the black ones are gorgeous in color, and they seem like interesting fish. No you're fine feel free. :] I know, I'm just so...

    Master Test Kits Questions

I have so many questions. So I was looking online for some master testing kits, and I came across two online at www.walmart.com Has anyone has these two or would reccommend one over the other too me. I don't think we've really ever had a master kit, and to be honest I've never used one before...

Not so new, and not so huge tank that I may set up...

I know the feeling. Nearly all our fish died because I was the only one taking care of them last time, luckily we gave some away though, thank heavens. I know the feeling lol. Cherry shrimp sounds lovely, something new besides fish I understands. Yay! New fish will move in. Cherry Barbs are...

Agreed. I use that method when I clean my tanks, and when I am doing water changes. Great tip bs6749, I was planning on getting danios that helps :]

    Schools

I would have a fairly small school of fish (tetras) and maybe some guppies, but they reproduce like no tomorrow once settled in, so you'll have to take that into account. Good Luck :]

    Baby Sailfin Mollies

They're adorable. I'm sure they'll be able to tolerate the salinty.

    What should I get next?

To add more color without much fuss to your tank I would reccomend a school of True Rummynose Tetra (about 3 - 4 ) They're a magnicifant color, and are easy to care for.

    New Fish

From what I've read about yo-yo loaches, they will get along fine with your already present fish. I'm not sure of what other fish would go well, maybe 2 new tetras maybe glowlight tetras? for a little diversity. I would only be concerned about space with going to have a school, but other than...

two 10gal tank -How to stock them?

Yeah, i was leaning toward the danios too. I know, I just recently found all that out, and I'm so dissapointed. Maybe later I'll get a bigger tank, and be able to handle the ones I want. I was also told that a school of tetras would be a good choice for my other 10 gal tank. Is that true? If so...

    New Setup. Advice Please.

@ fish 'n' fries - Okay that was a lot of useful information you gave me :] If I comprehended it correctly, then I understand that... One tank could have 2-3 female bettas, and 1-2 corys? And for the active Zebra Danios I could put a school 4-5 of them in one tank with a bottemdweller? Feel free...

I am interested in these fish. Zebra Danios, Blue Gouramis, Tiger Barbs, (I'm more interested in the above) & Female Bettas Possible Scenarios/? I don't really know spot-on if these fish would be a community together. Does anyone possibly know how I could stock these fish in which of...

Not so new, and not so huge tank that I may set up...

I've been lurking here today, and I've read your whole topic. :] You're very dedicated, and your tank looks very cool. (Cute Car :0 ) You have a nice list of fish stock to choose from, the Cherry Barbs sounds lovely. But I'm just partial to barbs, don't mind me. Keep you rmind open to all kinds...

    New Setup. Advice Please.

Thank you so much. I haven't any experience with the fish you've suggested, but I'm willing to take a look and give some of them a shot if possible. I forgot to mention I have both filters for both tank, but I have only one heater. I'll be sure to purchase another one. I don't really have...

    New Setup. Advice Please.

It takes a lot for me too get used to this kind of thing. Please bear with me. I am not new to fish, but I am new at having my own tanks. My mom and I have had a 10 gallon tank for a while, and have had some relatively easy fish. Now that my mom has quit her aquarium she and my grandmother...

    Common Newbie Pitfalls

Hm. Words of wisdom. Do research on a fish before you buy it, know it's space requirements, temperments, diet, and whether it is okay alone, or in a group. When in doubt, ask someone that you know, that they know what they're talking about. Never add any natural aquatic animals to your tank...
