thanks for all the info, I have decided to just do a fowlr tank and get some of that cool fake corral. (sorry purists) I may even put all my fresh fish from my 50 gal and put them in the 37 and turn the 50 into the salt tank, will see more posts from me when I get started. TANKS allot!

I wouldn't worry about it. I will get a rope for my albino. The rope is mellow and I don't think the oscars will try to eat it. I got a small oscar though so they may get used to one another...... may be the way to go to make sure. look at my gallery for my rope.

I had my reedfish in a puney 10g for a yr. He didn't grow at all. I have him in a fiftyG now. He is happier. I rec at least a 50 for the reed. I felt I was abusing him a bit in the smal tank. He is not as squirly as before, and he is docile in the 50. Maybe he learned, Learned Helplessness. see...

Any reccomendations to light tubes that fit a 29 that are minimum 40 wattS? Or do I need a double lamp setup? What lights are good for plants? Flourescents?
