Haha, thanks. He's starting to venture out more which is kinda scary to watch because my G.Ocellatus are really trying to get at him, but luckily the Halianthus is around. No one gets anywhere near him without losing a few scales, lol. She does an excellent job protecting him.

Well I haven't seen any other fry so I guess he is the last one. He's doing fine though, I see him starting to pick the scraps floating around in the water after I feed my fish. I'm gonna try to get a good picture of him.

Lol, ya. I should of been more specific. The rocks look like they would be used in a saltwater tank rather than some type of river rock. Kinda looks like texas holey rock but without so many holes and it has some bits of dead coral in it. Hopefully that is a bit more discriptive. :)

I'm not sure. They were used in saltwater, they have some coral on them. The rock isn't all coral because I broke one of the bigger pieces in smaller ones and it just looked like rock. I'm gonna guess some type of oceanic rock.

I just got done feeding him :) I feed my cichlids with the medium sized New Life Spectrum sinking pellets I tried to feed him a whole one but he couldn't really get his mouth around it so I just chopped them in two or three pieces and dropped them next to him. Seems to do the trick! :)

Thanks, I found some good granite and other rock at a few different landscapers around here. But for the fire eel hes about fully grown and he doesn't mess with my fish as of now (knock on wood). He's perfectly fine.
