I finally tested my water lastnight after receiving the master test kit (about 3 weeks ago... hehe ... busy with my final exam ... yack !!) Here is the result: ph low range: 6.6 Ammonia: 0 Nitrite : 0 Nitrate : 0 I have 29GL tank with CO2 system, 65W runs 9 hours a day. ah I just have an XP2...

I use the waste water from water change (I'm afraid of using "WC" cz people may think it's toilet water!!) to water my little inhouse tropical "jungle"... I think there is something in the water that good for the plants? (ehh... :rolleyes:) but you know, save the environment!! hehe

how do you deal with the spraybar outlet from a filter? I cant stand seeing this ugly black bar. I saw lots of becautiful pics and dont see the spraybars. Do they take it out to take pic? Here is my pic with the spraybar

i just bought a new 65W for my 29GL tank. It seems like not enough light to take picture. The tank look like a mess. and i admit that i'm not an artist... I need to buy small leave plants... Those plants i have just grow crazy and too big for the tank !! Next project: buy a new DSLR camera...

I just installed an XP2 filter for my 29GL but the water is not clear... it's cloundy... What should I do? I do 5GL water change every week. I'm getting confused as i thought the 2 HOB filters dont work properly so I bough an XP2 filter in hope the water will get clear. But it doesnt... Please...

I have 29GL tank and 2 HOB filters (one come with the tank kit) and AquaClear 30 I bought from petco. But the water is still not as clear as my 14GL tank. I guess i need a new filter. I search around and found Fluval 304 which is a good deal about 60$. Any recomments on which filter for my tank...

After adding new light, new substrate and DIY CO2 stuff, the plants are growing good. But I dont know to layout them... Do I need to foreground plant? any sugguestion of moving plants around to make it look better? Thanks...

I have brown stuff on over my Anubias' leaves, on rocks and wood,... Is it brown algae? I have 29GL tank, 65W light (12 hours), DIY CO2 (2 bottles), I change 3 GL water 1 a week... The moss is beautiful but the but the brown stuff is not. I want to get rid of them but I dont know how... Please...
