    i'm stocking a 30g now and you can't go past some guppys - go for a mix of red and blue they look fantastic, also love my black widow tetras they're the calmest of the lot! danios are a bit hyper and hang out right at the top so ensure you don't have a large hood like mine or you'll rarely see...

    i don't know much either but from what i've read you'd be best off doing a big water change 60-80%.. what are you using as an ammonia source? are you using a water ager?
