    Lighting Schedule...

Can I have my lights be on from 9-11 PM, then from 6-8 AM? Is that 7 hours of darkness good enough? Should I turn my lights on at any other time in the day? P.S. - I'll have a Hippo Tang, 2 False Perculas, 5 Chromis, and a Flame Angel. My tank is 75g with 30g sump.

    What should I test for?

I'm going to have a 75 gallon FOWLR, about 80 lbs of base rock and about 25 lbs of live rock. What should I test for and how often? I've read around but the results vary too often.

How do you know when to add new fish?

I'm going to cycle my tank, then add 5 Chromis. Then I'm going to add 2 False Clownfish, a Hippo Tang, a Flame Angel, and a Sea Urchin. But in what order and how long inbetween? I'm leaving that up to my good friends of AA.com :D

    Sump question

I know this has been asked, but I can't find the topic. How does a sump work? Is it it's own filter? Do you put the heater/protein skimmer in the sump to pump back clean and heated water? I'm getting a 30 gallon sump and I have no idea how to use it
