    Blue tang growth rate

    im looking to purchasing a blue tang, im faced with the dillema of a small one for 40 bucks or a medium one for 80, how long would it do take to grow from 1 1/2inch to a medium size 3 inches per say? or should i just go with the 80 dollar one?

    brown algae or diatoms help!

    I started my new aquarium 3 weeks ago, i let the water cycle until there was 0nitrites 0 nitrates and the ph was right, i then put in a live rock in the tank i got from my friend who had his in his aquarium of 2 years, and added a ocellaris clown fish everything was fine for about 2 weeks then...
