    Peach Toadstool

Got this toadstool recently. Paid $60.00 for it and some guy offered me $100.00 on my way out of the store. Said it was pretty rare and wanted it. Is it rare? I've only seen yellow and brown before.

    Tick looking thing

Thanks again. Looks like that's what it is alright. Thinking about getting rid of the elegance before I have serious problems with the rest of my tank. If it's not already too late that is. What a shame, everything else in my tank is so healthy and I really love this piece. BTW that isopod is...

    Tick looking thing

Oh geez, here we go again. I just found this critter in the same elegance. Looks a little different than the first one. Wish I could find out what these things are and how to get rid of them. Whatever they are it's making the elegance very uncomfortable. It's only half out and not looking too...

    Tick looking thing

Hello all. Wondering if someone can tell me what this is. I found it crawling in the folds of my elegance this morning. I pulled it out with a tweezer and have it in a bag now. Is it safe to put back in or should I get rid of it? Thanks

    Camera Choices

I love my Canon Power Shot D10 12.1 MP Under water camera that takes amazing pics. Set it to macro with no flash and you won't believe what you see when you blow the pics up on your PC

    Bad Bugs Eating My Coral

Turns out the "bugs" were amphipods. I don't know what happend but the polyps started getting better and they're starting to grow again in that spot. Maybe it was some sort or rot? Is there such a thing? Anyway, thanks for all the imput everyone. I appreciate it.

    Bad Bugs Eating My Coral

I'll give it another shot tonight when the lights go out. The second pic was taken with the light on just so the damage could be seen better. These things are brown with stripes, have a lot of legs and long antenna. I'll try underwater this time with a flash and see what happens. Thanks.

    Hungry Blenny

Hi. I have a lawn mower Blenny but he's running low on food. 24 gallon nanocube and he's eaten everything in sight. Starting to get skinny and I'm afraid he's gonna starve. Any advice?

    Bad Bugs Eating My Coral

Hi. Something is eating my button polyps. Can anyone tell me what these things are and how do I get rid of them? Sorry the pic of them isn't better but I had a hard time getting a shot of them. They scatter as soon as the light goes on. The second pic shows the damage they've done. BTW the pic...

    more sand a problem?

Ahhh, that sounds very good. I like the idea of soaking it first in my old tank water. Less particles in the tank is a nice thing. The goby and blenny do a good enough job with the particles that are in the now. Sometimes it's like a big snow globe. lol Thanks for the advice.

    Killer Crab?

Humm, I was afraid of that. Both claws are the same size? I'll try the tilted glass trick. Thanks for your help and advice.

    more sand a problem?

Hey! I was wondering if I added more sand to my 24 gal nano cube will it adversely effect my reef? I started this tank in late January this year.
