Hey by'e, Having some issues gettin stuff on the rock! (I'm from Halifax). You may try to see if the LFS has a tank with sand on the bottom that they store the LR to sell. Or you could just get a bunch of the small broken pieces from the bottom of the tank. If you don't want to mix the bits...

It's more of a rotton egg smell. How long has the tank been running for and how long have the rock been in it? You do a lot of water changes so you should be on top of any spike in amonia nitrite nitrate spike. What else is in the tank?

THis clown has got to go. It even attacks my tank tools as I go in to move rocks etc. No fish is safe anywhere near it. Thanks though

That's a good one in some cases, and will try it next time but sometimes the fish is sick and won't eat or show interest in food and this is not a "lure". It still may work though....thanks!

OK, I have an issue. I want to start by saying that I consider myself to be quite agile and athletic, but when I need to catch and remove a fish from my 130gal reef for whatever reason (sickness, incompatibility, etc.. ) it is next to impossible. I have spent hours with my hand in the tank...
