I have a 90g FOWLER pretty lightly stocked (2 Chromis, Yellow Tang, Clown, Wrasse, and the some CUC) I do weekly 30% WCs. Do I need to run a skimmer? It's loud and causes salt build up on top of the tank. Could I just run it a couple days a week?

I mix my water and aerate for a day in 5g buckets. I have been covering the bucket with a lid to contain the spray off, does this affect the gas exchange or anything? Am I better leaving the lid off?

90g FOWLER with a Tang, couple Clowns and a handful of inverts. Is it okay to make a pretty drastic change in the LR layout? I'm hoping to move alot of rock to one side of the tank to create more of a sandy plain on the opposite side to better view snails and starfish ect.
