My 90g Fowler gets a short amount (no more then 20 min) of direct sunlight thru a tall, narrow window. Normally the shade is drawn but it happened to be open one day and activity in the tank changed a bit.
The cleaner shrimp seemed to follow the light across the tank as well as the Midas Blenny.

I'll watch for algae, water temp seems unaffected...any possible problems?
Could it help color the LR?

Not a very good idea. When the lighting goes through yout tank glass it will become diffused and will cause big time algea problems. IMO it`s not worth it.

Yep, My QT tank gets a sliver of sun from the door window. Algae problems when I have fish in QT (1 more week and I'm done).
