Oh, the female rams (Freon and Krypton) seem devoid of eggs today. At least Krypton does. She had been looking bigger day after day and exhibiting some interest in creating a spawning spot. The males (Boron and Xenon) seem much more interested in tank hierarchy issues.

These tiny fish are amazing. Their small size makes the aquarium seem just huge! They're also difficult to photograph, he, he. Unfortunately they seem to be finicky eaters. The first meal of the day is always some frozen daphnia and I'm pretty sure they're eating it. Any thoughts on Scarlet...

Yeah, smart to be cautious. I think you'd mentioned EBRs are running for $20 in your neck of the woods. Do you know if any females are out there? On a related note, here's a pic of one of the GBR females that are living with my EBR males (two each).

Yup I agree. I think folks are protective of the GBRs. Whenever I see or post a EBR pic I get this pretty quickly. I don't think the EBRs will be anywhere near as popular as the GBRs.

Hi Folks, I've had a bear of a time with Hydor CO2 green NRG Exclusive and Advanced systems. Does anyone have real-life experience screwing on the proprietary disposable canisters for the Exclusive system or paintball canisters for the Advanced system?

Oooh, good point. It was Comprehensive Flourish (the brown stuff) and a some Excel. I have a small battle of all the Seachem plant stuff (Excel, Iron, Flourish, Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium) and some Freshwater Trace..
