I'm a newbie with anemones too. I just got through reading that they sometimes behave that way before splitting. I would not attempt to move it as it will come back out on it's own in time. Here's a good site to visit when you have anemone questions........what to do when they spilt...

I kept a frogfish in a 29 gallon for 6 months and he did just fine. I just recently moved him into his new home, a 55 gallon. Just be sure there are no tankmates with him and that you only feed him 3 to 4 times a week. A good skimmer is also a good idea and regular water changes......HTH...

This came attached to a colony of zooanthids.......it's dime sized and kind of pretty. Not knowing what is was I broke it off the corner of the zoo rock and placed it in my frag tank......anyone know what it is for sure? Thanks

In my experience, yellow-tailed damsels are pretty passive compared to other types and should not be housed with aggressive tankmates.......

Personally, I'd remove the damsel if you like the jawfish and want him to get established......they do best with more passive tankmates and are prone to jump out of uncovered tanks. You probably already know he needs a deep sandbed (3 + inches minimum) and lots of building materials to...

In the past when I have had to bleach a saltwater decoration I always add Prime (declorinator) to the rinse water. It's an easy way to assure there is no trace of bleach left before returning item to tank. Just use a couple of capfuls to a small bucket of rinse water. Let the bleached items...

My friend has a bi-color angel in her tank.......he keeps all the mojano anemones at bay by eating them......there are none in her main tank now....just in the sump. Don't know how big your tank is but that might be a solution for you.

I used Kick Ick in my 75 gallon for the full treatment and it did nothing.....except raise my nitrates to over 100! I ended up breaking my reef down and treating the fish with Cupramine in a hospital tank. Don't waste your money.......
