I actually kind of agree with ae123. Not in the sense that it should be flat out banned, however, but more that better care should be achieved if you want to get into the hobby in the first place. The problem with supermarket like stores that have 100s of one particular fish at your disposal...

7 inches? A friend of mine has a BGK that's around 12 inches and will nocturnally hunt any smaller fish in the aquarium. I guess it depends on the fish. Loaches are a cool idea. I was going to suggest the yoyo's, but I am not sure what the minimum is since they do so much better in shoals.

Ooh, I love featherfins, but was worried they'd pick on my smaller fish. I have zebra loaches that don't like any bottom competition either. Beautiful tank and fish. :)
