I have a 6 bulb T5HO light fixture and the bubble tip I added seems to be fine with it.

As a reference point, I have mine under a 6 bulb T5 fixture that is putting out 324 Watts. I had it sitting on rocks on the sandbed to acclimate it to the light and let it attach to the rock. I moved it up the rockwork a little bit this morning.

Just wondering if the intake hole looks acceptable.

Thanks for the input everyone. When I do lights out, it goes away, but once the lights come back on bubbles start to show up after a couple hours. I've read that dino's do that, but does cyano do that to? I've never noticed the snot strands get more than 1/4" long. I usually run the lights...

It's a bit hard to see in the picture, but some of the bubbles are attached to a gel like snot.

What's the best way to remove detritus from your live rock? If I point a powerhead at the rocks and blow the detritus out of the rock, will a Skimmer get most of it out of the water column? Thanks!
