Who has corals in a tank where the phosphate isn't exactly 0?

Mine is somewhere between 0 and .5.

If i add a softie, is it a goner?

I'm running a skimmer, use premixed RO/DI water, bag of carbon and phosguard, and I rinse the frozen mysis shrimp in RO water and drain before adding it to the tank.

It's a sumpless system.

I can't quite get my Phos to 0.

What coral are we talking about? I think you should be OK. Remember that the goal is 0.
