Long story short had to move my tank about 300 miles then had to move it again and now thing are finally settled after about 5 months.....

I don't understand whats going on but i tested my water right before my MH went off and my ph was in the correct range about 8.6 but my Alk is at like 2.5meL........how can I raise my Alk without raising my ph??? :confused:

I building a new stand for my 55 gal b/c I wanna put a bigger sump on there and the one i have is too short to fit anything down there but maybe a 10 gal. My question is what would be the best way to move my tank from the stand it's on now to the new one??

I have the API Master reef test kit it brings Calcium, Carbonate Hardness, Phosphate, Nitrate. I am also just ordering a Magnesium test kit is there any other test that is vital for corals??

My 55 seems to be having a few issues with water clarity... Here is what my water test show: PH-8.2 Nitrite- 0 ppm Nitrate- 0 ppm Ammonia- 0-.25 ppm My LFS recommended ChemiPure I've been running that for about a month now and i haven't seen much improvement...any advice would be great!!

How long should the light cycle be?? I have a 55 gal with 4 vho lights putting out 95w a piece. I also have moon lights set up from the DIY guide on here for moonlights with leds.
