I was at the LFS and a guy bringing in pieces of coral that feel from his tank as he was cleaning game me a nice free piece just wondering what it is!!

I cant correctly ID it but I can tell you that your CC star is not reef safe and will probably destroy your coral.

Looks like green star polyps. If so they will spread all over that rock once happy. Maybe a good reason to keep that starfish!

If those "tube" that the polyps are coming out of are red colored - which it looks like they are - I'd say you have a tiny piece of Tubipora musica.
