i have a 29gal freshwater tank with only 5molly's and a sucker fish.no live plants.i cleaned tank out about 1.5 weeks ago and it got really murky,2days ago i did another pwc and it cleared up a little bit but its still going on.ive tried the drops and it didnt help atall.should i do another pwc??

;) figured it out.... the pic on right is suppose to be green...and well,its not.

closer inspection tells me its brown and black...and not hairy..i use light that came with tank and it stays on about 12hrs p/day.and i only have a pleco,couple guppies,a molly and a glofish(if that helps out any)

nitrite is part of it.. but im gonna switch to the liquid API test kit! in the next 2hrs actually when i can get to petstore...which i hope they have it. :/

i have a test strip for ph and all that, then i fill little vial with the water and a test strip for ammonia.

tank is cycled,ive had it for a mth.on the paper around bottle for test its always in safe zone and if it climbs atall i do water change.which is every 2weeks.it doesnt even leave safe zone,the tabs are just starting to turn color for a higher level so i do water change.not sure what PWC is..??

frog. lol he's so little i cant get him...i havents seen him come out of castle since yesterday...dont know if he likes it in there or just cant get out.but i want to put him in with male beta so it will be easier to make sure he gets enough food...this molly doesnt play when it comes to food.

she is very sad in small tank.... but when i put her in community tank not even 5min later she was chasing the other fish.I think imma try it again,ive heard beta fish are very smart and that she may beable to link the two....i chase fish,i get taken out... idk but i want her to be happy.

:( aww thats sad.im just worried the frog isnt getting enough food in 29gal tank..one of my mollys found out i put frog bites in and tends to follow wherever the frog is and gobbles up the food.

i have a male beta in a 5gal, which i was hoping i could put african dwarf frog in.which has heater and filter. the smaller tank has another beta,she doesnt seem happy in there though.. but if i put frog in 5gal tank with beta will he attack it?
