I have a skimmer on my 55g FOLR tank and it consistently pulls out yuck. I empty every few days. Cup not full, but it looks so fowl and is so easy to clean, I go ahead and do it. Do not have one on my 10g Nano. However do not have much in this tank and don't know if I will try one.

Does Reef Crystal desolve easily? I'm using Instant Ocean whch I have no prblems with, except I do wish it would desolve a little easier.

Mark, believe me, I really wasn't trying to set you straight. :twisted: Just wanted to share what I had finally done after much searching & calling around. I would have loved to have found a better solution, but this was the best I could find for a 10g. I really think there would be a lot more...

I have a 10g tank with an Eclipse One Hood. I'm using a SuperNova32 Retrofit Kit...PowerCompact SmartLamp included. Model 23132, Cstom SeaLife, Inc. Feel sure they will have other sizes available. You may want more light than this, but maybe you would be happy doing corals that could live well...

Are we talking about a piece of fish that I get from the fish market for the shrimp? How about the anenome? I fed it some frozen Formula One today, which it ate. Actually, the shrimp seem to really like it too.

Do you buy silver sides, muscels, krill, etc at the LFS? I have seen dried Krill, but don't remember if I have seen the others. Are they dried or frozen?

Jacob, I don't follow when you say "whole" shrimp. Are they frozen, dried, fresh, what?

The Gold Rim Tang is beautiful! I don't know if I have ever seen one in a store. Will have to keep an eye open. BTW, your pic is great...very sharp & clear.

Yes Jacob... I am like you, I just love this thing. It is so fascinating. I put some frozen brine shrimp in the tank yesterday and as the shrimp would float into the Condy's tentacles, they would curl in on the shrimp and eat (I assume). :D

Don't know how well my 10g tank which I have placed in my computer room is going to do in the long run, but I love it. It is so much fun to sit here and look at my baby. At the moment I am totally fascinated by my new Condy. :wink:

I also got a Condy Anenome yesterday. Hope I can keep it alive. No fish in my tank at present, but the CB shrimp is still in there. While at the LFS yesterday, there was one of these guys on the side of the glass and the owner asked me if I had ever seen one climb up the glass. I didn't see it...
