I bought an emerald crab to take care of the half-dozen green bubble algae stuff. Well 2 weeks later and I have lots of bubble algae and the crab is happily IGNORING it!! :evil: Besides pulling it off one-by-one, is there any other way to get rid of this stuff???? TIA

My mushrooms, polyps, and ricordia have a green glow under the anctitic light. Is the green glow a good or bad sign? Should it be allot or or spotty? Thanks

I can get saltwater at .35 cents a gallon and plain RO at .23 cents at my lfs. Is an RO unit worth the money and what are the hidden costs (filter replacements etc...) :? Thanks, David

Dunnno what the prob is.. :? .. My 2 clowns, of about a week, are listless, breathing heavy and not eating. No other outward signs of problems. They were fine 2 days ago. Other critters are fine (2 Peppermint shrimp, 1 conch, lots of snails and a few tiny starfish). The tank is about 6 weeks...

I have my protein skimmer (KM nautilus TE) in my wet/dry filter and my tank always has lots and lots of tiny bubbles in it. Is there any fix to this??? :? I am using a RIO 2500 to run my skimmer and as my return to my tank. Maybe a smaller skimmer pump?

I bought a a 6 pound chunk of LR 2 days ago and it has several anemone on it. The largest being about 2" in diameter and the rest, 6 or 7 stalks, about the size of a dime or smaller. Anyway, I was watching the large one and it went from full spread and standing out to shrinking to a dime size...

Can I just add the proper amount of instant ocean to my freshwater tank and have a ready made saltwater tank (fish only) or will it have to do the cycle thang with the salt water? Would give the freshwater fish away first :)
