Not sure if I've made a mistake by putting this star in my 75 or not... Sandbed is only about 2" I know there is loads of life in it small brittles everywhere etc... But sand was looking kind of crappy.... Added star on advice of friend.... Now reading it can wipe out live sand bed rather...

Added some new sand to existing 3 yr old sandbed.. Getting a pretty bad diatom dusting.. Guess this is to be expected?? Thanks

Haven't seen many bubbletips stretch their foot like this and basically stay this way... Moved up one time to top of rock and is under 150w 14k Phoenix bulb... Eats really well???

Have had a small hawk in my 75 reef tank about 6 weeks and it seems harder to keep cleaner shrimp? Flame shrimp seems ok but it's larger?? Any tips?? Thanks? Cant seem to find larger cleaners...

Newer foxface hides alot? The 4" fish is in my 75 and seems healthy enough, comes out to scarf up at eating time... Sneaks out to clean off nori in algae clip... But after 2 weeks i would have thought it would have gotten a little Use to my presence?? Is this the norm for this beautiful fish...

Added a harlequin to my 75 about three weeks ago, had a piece of cc star i gave it after acclimation.. Hoping it will clean up the asternia star population. Dont see it too often,but when i do i feed it one of the asternias..question is can it hunt them ok or add cc star leg to supplement??

Have been getting more cyano in fuge on rocks, caulerpa etc... None in dt.. Was thinking of cleaning mud out.. Have to run light 24/7 for caulerpa???? Any thoughts, thanks

Both of these colonies seem to be melting away in my 75 gal mixed reef tank everything else seems fine. Started dosing lime into top off water about a month ago.swicthed to leds about three months ago. I have sold or traded a lot from these over the last two years.. I just dont get it.

Have been using mrs wages pickling lime in my top-off water for about six weeks and must say i am exceptionally pleased so far. Had calcium and alkalinity levels at 10 and 460, have not had to buffer since... Anyone else??? Advice?? Thanks...

And frogspawn have grown pretty close together could this be a problem? Two bubble mushrooms on rock about 3" each are these difficult to remove from rock? Frag? Thanks for any help?
