Japanese dendros?

Couple heads of dendros seem to stay pretty closed for the most part is this the norm? Tank parameters are good, have moved a few times to different light, flow. Anyone familiar with these?
Pic was about three days after placement mostly closed since. Havent noticed any problems with fish, but trying to keep close eye on flame

Dendros are non photosynthetic so they will need to be fed several times a day, they tend to feed at night but they can be trained to open during the day. People do this by mashing a mysis shrimp in the water at the same time every day to get a feeding response then when they open up feed them at around the same time for a while. They should become use to this an start opening up around feeding time in anticipation of food. They are usually considered hard to keep because of the feeding requirements.
