well, I was thinking it would be healthy for the creatures in the tank, but I don't know just wondering.

I was wondering if it was good or bad to add some blue-green algae powder to a reef tank. does anyone know the pros and cons of doing this? thanks

It does have a few small tenticle looking things and I've seen them move around. The whole creature also moves around a bit.

Hi, I had a curly cue anemone that died about a week ago. I removed the dead guy, but today I found this thing in the tank. Does anyone think it was a part of the anemone that has started a new life? thanks

I have 7, but she had them over night before I moved her to a net so I think she had more that were eaten. I found one of them a week after she had them and in comparison he was larger then the ones that I cought and put in the net.

how soon after mollies are born is it safe to put them in the tank with the other fish? mine are about two and a half or three weeks old now and have definitely doubled in size, but I think the mother could still get them in her mouth if given the chance. thanks, dt509

Do you know what they are called? To me, it looks like the arms are bothering the polyps. Every few days there is a small area of debris on and around this thing and at first I thought it was waste from an eaten polyp, but now I don't know. The polyps right near it don't seem to open up anymore...

Here are 2 more pics of this thing. I now think it is eating the polyps, there seems to be some brown looking debris where a polyp or 2 used to be. what is this thing? it has many tenticles and some are 2 or more inches long.

I have noticed these small little tenticle type things on the same rock as some polyps . I'm not sure if they are hurting them or not, they have hairlike tenticles that move all over and touch everything around. they are banded with a greenish and brownish color. What could they be? In the 1st...
