It might be the iodine if you arent testing for it. If iodine isnt tested for, it can do seriouse damage to corals... Iodine is very toxic.

Yes, interceptor is a good treatment. I know a few people that have red acro bugs, and interceptor isnt that easy to find. Your best bet would look for other reefers that have interceptor.

randalp and captive reefs are right, CPR aquafuge is the best HOB refugium and its great for pods and macro! :D I have the small aquafuge and I love it.
